Goats in the Greenhouse

The Clark Farm greenhouse has been in use all winter for the cultivation of organic greens for local restaurants. Farmer Andrew Rodgers said it was time to turn over the soil and prepare the greenhouse for sowing spring crops, so he brought in a cleaning and fertilizing crew to do the prep work. It took them about three days, but it was a job well done  -- and done gladly.

The ladies arrive for the garden party.

And with only a little coaxing, they were led to the smorgasbord.

Did I mention there were goat babies? Two seven-day-old bucklings.

Greens and milk were on the kids' menu.

What's not to love about spending a late winter morning in a greenhouse with baby goats nibbling at my hems?
